Commercial Solar Installation for The Beacon Centre, Sedgley
Insolation Solar completed a large-scale commercial solar PV installation for Beacon Centre for the Blind, a respected local charity based in Sedgley, West Midlands. The Beacon Centre is a vital community hub supporting blind and partially sighted people across the region, and this project highlights Insolation Solar’s commitment to working with local charities and good causes to deliver long-term social, environmental and financial benefits.
As a family-run solar installation company rooted in the West Midlands, Insolation Solar is passionate about supporting organisations that make a genuine difference in their communities. By helping the Beacon Centre reduce energy costs and carbon emissions, this project enables more of the charity’s resources to be directed towards essential services and community programmes.
Project Overview
The Beacon Centre required a commercial solar panel installation capable of reducing high ongoing energy costs while aligning with the charity’s sustainability objectives. Insolation Solar carried out a detailed assessment of the building and designed a bespoke rooftop solar PV system that made full use of the Centre’s large roof area, maximising renewable energy generation and long-term performance.
Working closely with the Beacon Centre team, Insolation Solar managed the project from initial planning through to final commissioning, ensuring a smooth, considerate installation process that respected the needs of staff, service users and visitors throughout.
