System Design and Installation
This installation features a 15.2kW solar PV system made up of 32 AIKO Neostar all black panels, carefully configured to optimise solar generation throughout the day. The system design was tailored to the property’s layout and orientation to ensure maximum performance and efficiency.
The scale of the system allows for significantly higher energy production compared to standard residential installations, making it ideal for properties with increased electricity usage or future energy requirements such as electric vehicles or home extensions.

Battery Storage and Backup Power
A key feature of this project is the integration of a 27kWh Tesla Powerwall 3 system, supported by an expansion pack and Tesla Gateway. This advanced battery setup enables the homeowner to store a large proportion of the energy generated and use it when needed, greatly reducing reliance on the grid.
In addition to improving energy efficiency, the Tesla Gateway provides full home backup functionality. In the event of a power cut, the system automatically switches to battery power, ensuring the property remains fully operational without interruption.
