Insolation Solar Took Part in the Beacon Centre Santa Run 2025

The Insolation Solar team kicked off the festive season in true Christmas spirit on Sunday as we joined hundreds of Santas at the Beacon Centre Santa Fun Run 2025 in West Park, Wolverhampton. It was a fantastic morning filled with community spirit, festive costumes and plenty of cheer — all in support of a charity very close to our hearts.

A Festive Morning at West Park

As a family-run business rooted in the West Midlands, supporting local causes is incredibly important to us. The Beacon Centre plays a vital role in helping people living with sight loss across the Black Country and wider region, so taking part in this year’s Santa Run felt especially meaningful.

Celebrating 10 years of the Beacon Santa Run, the event brought together families, experienced runners, children, and festive four-legged friends dressed in their finest Christmas outfits. With a special appearance from the Elf on the Shelf and the choice to walk, jog or run the 5k route, the atmosphere was filled with fun from start to finish.

Proud Sponsors of the Finish Line

In addition to taking part, we were delighted to support the event as the official Finish-Line Sponsors. Sponsoring the run allowed us to contribute directly to the Beacon Centre’s incredible fundraising efforts.

The charity shared a heartwarming message of thanks:
“A huge festive thank you to Insolation Solar, our Santa Run finish-line sponsors — not only do they power our runners over the line, they also power the Beacon Centre itself with the brilliant solar panels they installed on our roof!”
We’re proud to have installed the solar panels that help the Beacon Centre reduce their carbon footprint and energy costs — a long-term contribution that supports their mission and sustainability goals.

Marking a Decade of Festive Fundraising

This year’s Santa Run truly showcased how much the event has grown over the past decade. With hundreds of festive outfits, amazing energy from participants and supporters, and a warm, family-friendly atmosphere, it was a memorable morning for everyone involved.

Every step — and every paw print — taken on Sunday helps the Beacon Centre continue delivering essential services to those living with sight loss, making a meaningful difference across the West Midlands.

Supporting the Community All Year Round

At Insolation Solar, giving back to our local communities is a core part of who we are. Whether through charity partnerships, local events or sustainable energy initiatives, we’re committed to making a positive impact across Wolverhampton and the wider West Midlands.

We had an amazing time at the Santa Run and want to thank everyone who took part, donated, volunteered or cheered along the route.
