Our Incredible Year at Insolation Solar

A Look Back at 2025

As we reach the end of an inspiring and fast-moving 2025, the whole team at Insolation Solar would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to every customer, partner and supporter who has helped make this our most successful year to date.

With major commercial projects and a strong year of residential installations, 2025 has been a year of real progress. Alongside this, our community work and press features have made it a year to remember — here are some of our highlights.

Supporting Our Community

Sponsoring and Attending the Beacon Centre Santa Fun Run
We were delighted to once again sponsor and participate in the Beacon Centre Santa Fun Run. Seeing the community come together to support people with sight loss is always inspiring, and taking part alongside so many dedicated fundraisers made this a standout moment of the festive season.

Wombourne Cricket, Tennis and Bowling Club Tennis Awards Evening
Another highlight was attending the annual Tennis Awards Evening at Wombourne Cricket, Tennis and Bowling Club. As proud supporters, we were honoured to present awards and celebrate the achievements of talented local players. Supporting community sport continues to be something we take great pride in.

Donating LED Floodlights to Wombourne Cricket, Tennis and Bowling Club
Earlier this year we donated new LED floodlights to help enhance the club’s facilities and improve their energy efficiency. The project was featured in the Express & Star, and we were pleased to attend the official switch-on alongside Councillor Martin Perry, Chairman of Wombourne Parish Council. It was a proud moment for both the club and our team.

Celebrating 150 Years of the Beacon Centre at the Beacon of Light Ball
In September, we attended the Beacon of Light Ball to celebrate 150 years of the Beacon Centre for the Blind. It was a fantastic evening recognising the centre’s remarkable history and the vital support it continues to offer to people living with sight loss across the region.

Celebrating a Record-Breaking Year of Residential Installations
While our commercial projects often attract attention, our residential work remains at the heart of what we do — and 2025 has been a record-breaking year for home solar installations.
We’ve had the pleasure of working on a diverse range of properties across the region, including:
  • Traditional semi-detached homes
  • Detached homes and bungalows
  • Farmhouses and rural properties
  • Barn conversions and character buildings
  • Large estates and executive properties
  • Modern developments and brand-new builds
Each installation is carefully tailored to the property and the customer’s energy needs, from straightforward domestic systems on suburban homes to more complex setups on rural estates and architecturally unique conversions. We are truly grateful for every homeowner who has chosen Insolation Solar this year.

Showcasing Our Expertise Through Key Commercial Installations

The Label Centre – Major Commercial Solar Installation
One of our largest commercial projects of 2025 was the installation for The Label Centre, featuring 244 solar panels. This sizeable system will help the business significantly reduce its carbon footprint and energy costs, and we are proud to have delivered such a high-performing installation.

Darvick Ltd, Brierley Hill
We also completed a commercial installation of 171 solar panels for Darvick Ltd in Brierley Hill. This system is already delivering long-term benefits, supporting the business in reducing both energy bills and emissions.

Completed Large-Scale Commercial Solar Installation for Prime Oak
One of our standout achievements of 2025 was the successful completion of a large-scale commercial solar PV installation for Prime Oak, one of the UK’s leading oak frame specialists. Delivered entirely by our in-house team, this bespoke system was designed to support Prime Oak’s operational energy demands while significantly reducing reliance on grid electricity. The completed installation has a total capacity of 427.7kW, comprising 940 high-efficiency solar panelssupported by four 100kW SOLAX inverters. As a family-run West Midlands business, we managed the project from initial consultation through to final commissioning, ensuring a smooth and well-coordinated process throughout. The system is projected to save Prime Oak approximately £65,400 per year in electricity costs while delivering substantial environmental benefits, clearly demonstrating the impact high-quality commercial solar installations can achieve.

Sharing Our Story in the Media

Interview on the Chris Allen Business Show, WCR FM
This October, we appeared on the Chris Allen Business Show on WCR FM. It was a great opportunity to talk about the growth of the solar industry, our commitment to customer care and the journey of Insolation Solar as a trusted, family-run business. Our thanks go to Chris and the station for the invitation.

A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Customers
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported us throughout 2025. Whether you are a homeowner looking to reduce your energy bills or a business seeking long-term sustainability, every installation — large or small — plays a vital role in our success as a family-run business. Your trust and support mean everything to us.

Looking Ahead to an Even Brighter 2026
With more homeowners and businesses turning to renewable energy, we are excited to build on this year’s achievements. In 2026, we look forward to:
  • Delivering even more commercial solar installations
  • Helping homeowners benefit from clean, renewable energy
  • Continuing our involvement in community and charity initiatives
Thank you for being part of an incredible year. We look forward to another successful and sustainable year ahead as we continue to support customers across the West Midlands and beyond.
